Zerto was founded in 2009 and introduced a new type of data replication. When we introduced hypervisor-based replication back in 2011, it delivered the fastest RTOs and RPOs and changed how disaster recovery was done. Since then, Zerto has relentlessly driven innovation in the IT disaster recovery and data protection space, with its software-based technology based on continuous data protection. Zerto was acquired by Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) in September 2021 and is poised to continue to innovate and further develop its platform while contributing to HPE GreenLake.
